SAT Exam Quick Tips

1. Study! Review exam study guides.

2.Read and follow directions.

3. Answer easy questions first. Skip difficult questions and return to them if time permits.

4. You can use your SAT test booklet as scratch paper. You are permitted to write in the test booklet.

5. Bring watch to keep track of your time limits.

Georgia HOPE Grant and Scholarship - IT IS ALREADY YOURS!

HOPE Grant Overview:

Georgia HOPE Grant is available to all Georgia residents who are attending eligible colleges or universities in Georgia to earn a certificate or diploma regardless of grade point average or graduation date. Continuing education programs are not eligible. The HOPE Grant Award amount will only cover a portion of a students tuition.

Here are two options to begin the application:

HOPE Scholarship Overview:

Georgia HOPE Scholarship is available to Georgia residents who have demonstrated academic achievement and have graduated with a 3.0 grade point average. The scholarship provides money to assist with educational costs of attending a HOPE eligible college in Georgia. Please see school counselor for additional details on your qualifications.

Achievers Spring Break in Washington, D.C.

The Expanding Horizons and Acworth Achievers programs have selected participants for an all expenses paid trip to Washington, D.C. The group will be taking a four day trip that will consist of historical tours as well as new and innovative tours of the city. What a time to be in such a great city!
